For the UES, this is a great option, but I prefer the chirashi bowl at MOG MOG, the Japanese fish market in LIC. Overall a cute spot for a special occasion but also nothing mind-blowing. ”
“ I have ordered the 3 roll sushi lunch deal multiple times. The quality of the sushi is great and it is always fresh. It also comes with soup or salad. For $18 it is on the more expensive side of sushi lunch deals but the sushi is better quality than some of the other lunch options out there. The soup and salad are fine but nothing special. I have never eaten in the restaurant but every time I enter it seems relatively empty. The restaurant is clean and you can watch the chefs make the sushi. My pick up orders are always quick. ”
“ Elegant, clean Japanese aesthetic. Service was very fast and friendly - we had dinner and were able to leave the restaurant within about 30-40 minutes. We got the sushi for 2 (18 pieces nigiri + chef's roll), which came with miso soup or salad. The sushi came nicely presented in a beautiful large dish. Every piece of nigiri was fresh, tasty, and came with a large portion of fish compared to rice (just the way I like it). The chef's roll was also delicious, the fresh mango complemented the fish and sauce so well. We ate well and even with tax and tip and a beer the bill came out to less than $100. Don't sleep on this place. I'll definitely be back. ”

“ Must try: Pearl Roll and Maki B Roll Combo! Why: Loved the Pearl Roll (8 pcs) with spicy scallop, cucumber, white fish and ponzu sauce. Also enjoyed the Maki B Roll Combo, which included California, Salmon Avocado, and Eel Cucumber (6 pcs each). Large pieces and fresh fish. Combo also came with soup or salad so I got a hot Miso Soup. Notes: I ordered delivery for dinner and it came fairly quickly. I thought the dinner roll combo was a good deal ($23). Will order again and try other rolls. ”
